Copaint x Birthday Party

I had an unforgettable birthday last November!  As I returned from the Golden Gate Bridge with my visiting cousin, my hubby had organized a surprise party for me, gathering 25-30 friends. It was a fantastic afternoon where we enjoyed flavorful quiches and a delicious birthday brownie — paired with champagne, of course! 🥂

On top of that, he had planned a 24-square mystery copainting activity, which added a fun social element to the party, along with a touch of suspense! I must admit, not many of my friends are serious painters so we had our doubts about the final result. Would it end up decorating the bathroom… or the living room?

Our collaborative painting turned out to be a furry reinterpretation of the Mona Lisa — serenely smiling, with a majestic attitude and crossed paws, always staring at us bizarrely and wherever we were in the room. 👀  Nope. Furry Lisa definitely did not belong above the toilet seat.

I can now proudly say that it’s hanging right above our couch, adding a colorful touch full of happy memories to our living room! 🖼️
